On 14 September 2026, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kolkata, in partnership with Wat Pa Dungeswari, extended educational and humanitarian support to students in Dungeswari, Bihar, through the donation of school backpacks, educational supplies, essential items, dry food, and nutritious lunches.

The initiative reflects Thailand’s sincere commitment to expanding educational opportunities and empowering children from underserved communities to pursue their dreams with confidence and hope. Beyond the provision of essential supplies, the programme represents a heartfelt expression of friendship, compassion, and solidarity — a reminder that every school bag carries encouragement, every learning resource creates opportunity, and every shared meal conveys care and kindness.
