On 11 August 2026, Consul-General Siriporn Tantipanyathep presided over the merit-making ceremony to commemorate the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, and National Mother Day. During the ceremony, all the officials of the Royal Thai Consulate-Gereral in Kolkata attend the Buddhist chanting and meditation, to pay homage and dedicate merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother.
