Venerable Somdej Pra Wanarat and H.E. Prof. Emeritus. Dr. Kasem Watanachai, H.M. The King's Privy Councillor, Preside Over the Handover Ceremony of the Chaipattana Aerator to Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhgaya

On 24 October 2011 Venerable Somdej Pra Wanarat and H.E. Prof. Emeritus. Dr. Kasem Watanachai, H.M. The King's Privy Councillor and Vice Chairman of Phra Dabos Foundation, and several Buddhist devotees from Thailand visited Bodhgaya and proceeded to perform Royal Kathina Ceremony (Kathina ceremony is monk robe offering ceremony) at Metta Buddharam Monastery.

On 25 October 2011, Venerable Somdej Pra Wanarat and H.E. Prof. Emeritus. Dr. Kasem Watanachai presided over the Handover Ceremony of the Chaipattana Aerator to MahabodhiMahavihara Temple. The Aerator was to be installed to purify the water in the “Mucalinda Lake” located south of the main temple. The Chaipattana Aerator is His Majesty the King's invention which has received international recognition.
