On 11 August 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kolkata held a ceremony to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, observed annually on 12 August. Ms. Siriporn Tantipanyathep, Consul-General of Thailand in Kolkata, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by consular officials and their spouses. The activity included paying homage to Her Majesty the Queen Mother, a candle-lighting ceremony, and signing the book of well-wishes at the Consulate-General’s premises.
