On 1 July 2024, Ms. Siriporn Tantipanyathep, Consul-General of Thailand in Kolkata met with Mr. S.K. Singh, President of Tourism Association of Bihar during her visit to Bihar to discuss ways to promote Thai tourism in Bihar market that catered to specific groups such as incentive group, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions), and wedding.
