On 11 April 2024, Ms. Siriporn Tantipanyathep, Consul-General of Thailand in Kolkata met with Mr. Sanjay Samal, owner and CEO of SS Frozen World, an Indian entrepreneur who imports and distributes Thai and Asian food and ingredient products, during her visit to Odisha. The two sides exchanged views on popular Thai products in Odisha, and a possibility to import Thai products directly from Thailand as well as to set up a dedicated Thai product shelf in the store.
