On 10 April 2024, Ms. Siriporn Tantipanyathep, Consul-General of Thailand in Kolkata called on Shri Pradeep Kumar Jena, Chief Secretary, Office of Odisha Chief Minister, during her visit to Odisha. The two sides exchanged views on opportunities and potentials in promoting economic and trade cooperation between Thailand and Odisha, Odisha’s experience in disaster reduction and risk management, Odisha’s vision in becoming a sports tourism destination, and the promotion of two-way tourism between Thailand and Odisha.
