The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kolkata, in partnership with the Office of the Tourism Authority of Thailand in New Delhi, invited Thai exhibitors in tourism to participate in the TTF Kolkata 2026 – Eastern India’s largest tourism trade show. Held from 10–12 July 2026 at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangran in Kolkata, the event provided a dynamic platform for B2B and B2C networking, showcasing Thailand as a must-visit destination. The “Amazing Thailand Pavilion” captured attention with an impressive lineup of premier exhibitors, including Siam Niramit Phuket, Sky Diving Thailand, Pond Rich Tour Thailand, Vana Nava Water Jungle and Andamanda Phuket, and Viet Jet Air.

On 10 July 2026, Ms. Siriporn Tantipanyathep, Consul-General of Thailand in Kolkata and Guest of Honor at the Opening Ceremony, highlighted Thailand’s tourism vision. She spotlighted how Thai tourism campaign evolves in response to the global context. By focusing on the quality and value of the service rather than on the number of visitors, Thai tourism maintains its excellence. Thus, in 2025, Thailand welcomed over 2.5 million Indian tourists.

Consul-General Siriporn also extended a heartfelt invitation to all participants to attend the “Thai Film Festival in Kolkata 2026,” which will be held at Cinepolis, Acropolis Mall, Kolkata, from August 7–9, 2026. Seven films that reflect the Thai way of life and culture, while also showcasing attractive tourist destinations in Thailand, will be screened at the festival.
