Thailand Trophy

On 11 February 2012, the Royal Thai Consulate General in Kolkata  participated in the “Calcutta Races - Spring Meeting 2012” of the Royal Calcutta Turf Club by presenting “The Thailand Trophy” to the winner of the race, one of the eight races took place on the same day. The other races were ‘The Queen Elizabeth II Cup’, ‘The H H Maharaja Jagaddiipendra Narayan Bhup Bahadur of Cooch Behar Memorial Cup’, ‘The Portugal Trophy’ ,’The Sweden Cup’, ‘The Germany Trophy’, ‘The 164 Red FM Cup’, and ‘The Metropolitan’.

There were around 6,000 people attended the event and around 200 VIP guests invited for cocktail and lunch.
