On 13 May 2020, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kolkata, in association with the Thai Buddhist Missionary Monks in India-Nepal from the Royal Thai Monastery Buddhagaya, organised the third evacuation charter flight with Thai Smile Airways to repatriate 129 Thai Buddhist monks, nuns and lay persons from Gaya International Airport. The evacuees arrived safely at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 17.16 hrs.

The youngest passenger on board the flight was a 3-year-old child who travelled with mother, and there was also a diabetes patient who needed special care.

Summary of evacuation/assistance given by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kolkata to Thai nationals, up to 13 May 2020:

- 21 March 2020: facilitation and assistance in issuing fit-to-fly certificate and travel endorsement letters for 109 Buddhist monks travelling via Thai Airways from Kolkata to Bangkok

- 24-25 April 2020: evacuation of 342 Buddhist monks, nuns and lay persons from Gaya International Airport to Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport

- 27 April 2020: issuance of travel endorsement letters for 15 Thai nationals who were crew members of a Thai trade vessel bound to arrive in Thailand at Koh Si Chang, Chonburi Province on 1 May 2020

- 13 May 2020: evacuation of 129 Buddhist monks, nuns and lay persons from Gaya International Airport to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport

In total: 595 Thai nationals have been facilitated/evacuated back to Thailand (as of 13 May 2020)
